Alon Matas
Alon Matas founded MediaBoost and serves as the company's CEO. He is responsible for directing the company's worldwide activities, building MediaBoost's market position, and creating and developing its business.
Mr. Matas technological and managerial background was formed in the Israeli army, where he served in many roles and led several major projects. In 2000 he joined WizApp, a dot-com startup founded by Dr. Yossi Vardi, serving as the company's VP R&D.
In 2002 he founded Compile, an Internet venture incubator. As the CEO of Compile, he has initiated and executed several successful international Web-based enterprises.
Avi Kerbs
Avi Kerbs serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Teuza Management & Development Ltd., the management company of Teuza - A Fairchild Technology Venture Fund. Since 1991 Mr. Kerbs has served in this capacity and as Director of most companies that comprise the investment portfolios of the Teuza Fund.
Mr. Kerbs holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management and a M.Sc. in Management from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Mr. Kerbs serves as a member of the Technion's Board of Governors and the Haifa University Board of Governors. He is also a member of the Board of the United Cerebral Palsy Research and Educational Foundation in the U.S.
Ehud Levy
Ehud Levy is a Managing Partner at Vertex Venture Capital (www.vertexvc.com). He has vast knowledge and approximately two decades of experience in the high-tech industry with expertise in the areas of investment and finance, management and operations, and entrepreneurship. Prior to Vertex, Ehud Co-Founded and was Chairman & CEO of Ki-Bi Mobile Technologies, where he led the business from concept to commercial success, IPO in London, and eventual takeover.
Previously, he served as COO and CFO of Telegate, a telecommunications company, where he played a major role in turning the company into a success story. As a result the company was acquired for over $400 million by Terayon (TERN). Ehud also served as a private equity investor and an investment banker in New York and Tel Aviv, and has served on the BOD of several of high-tech companies. Mr. Levy holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering (with honors) from the Technion, and an MBA from Columbia University in New York.
Eliezer Tokman
Mr. Tokman is a distinguished veteran executive of the medical imaging industry. His 30 years of experience include management roles in some of the most significant companies in the field. Mr. Tokman served as an executive in Philips Medical Systems, in the role of Senior Vice President, Business Integration based in Cleveland US. Prior to that Mr. Tokman was employed by Marconi Medical Systems Inc. ($1.6B sales) in the role of Senior Vice President for Product Strategies. Mr. Tokman joined Marconi in 1998 with the acquisition of the CT business of Elscint Ltd, an innovative multi-modality Israeli medical imaging company.
During a 15-year career at Elscint, he served in a variety of management roles, including President of Elscint America and General Manager of the Computed Tomography (CT) division.
Mr. Tokman currently serves on the boards of directors of a number of companies. He is a graduate of the Israeli Institute of Technology in Haifa.
Noga Kap
Bringing over twenty years of hands-on experience in sales, finance and management
in the high-tech industry, Ms. Noga Kap is responsible for all seed and early-stage
investments in BRM Hi-Tech.
Prior to joining BRM, Noga was General Partner at Walden Israel Venture Capital from
2000-2008. Before joining Walden, she founded the first European subsidiary for
MINT Technologies, a leading provider of intelligent middleware solutions for
application integration in the financial services industry, leading the company to
become a leader in the EAI market, including the acquisition of SunGard Data
Systems Inc. (NYSE:SDS). Prior to MINT, Noga held several managerial Operations
positions in telecom service companies in Israel and abroad, notably Consortium
International and Koor Communications.
Currently Noga sits on the board of MediaBoost, and until recently was on the Board
of Directors for a number of technology companies, including Mellanox
(NASDAQ:MLNX), Zend Technologies, SintecMedia, Safend, Amimon, EPOS and
Universal Ad.
Committed to the community, Noga is actively involved in:
• Tseva - a not-for-profit organization working with underprivileged children
from poor communities – board member
• Tzofen – a not-for-profit organization aiming to advance equal opportunity for
Israel’s Arab citizens by accelerating their entrance into the hi-tech industry –
board member
• Olim Beyachad - a program coping with the high unemployment rates among
Israelis of Ethiopian background with academic degrees – mentor
Noga holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Psychology from Tel Aviv University and an MBA
from Washington University.
